We conduct on site or virtual interviews with surgeons, anesthesia staff and nurse managers to mark satisfaction levels and uncover perceptions of performance improvement opportunities.
Professional Service Revenue
We compare performance at a high level against industry best practices. If gaps exist, and we can obtain the data and communication with the billing representative, we can identify areas of potential improvement. We recommend alternative vendors if the revenue cycle is not producing within acceptable standards. We will review managed care arrangements. While the payor environment is difficult, increasing transparency on published provider rates allows us to benchmark rates depending on the geography.
Information and Clinical Documentation Solutions
For anesthesia, we assist with anesthesia information system selection and implementation. For all specialties, we will develop dashboards with clinical, financial, and operational metrics. We can assist in selection, configuration and implementation of provider scheduling systems.
Proforma with Financial Support Validation
We will create an integrated service line proforma with all components from discovery. We will bring to light any opportunities for improvements for which there is a path to implement without alienating the providers.
Professional Service Agreement
We will review the current PSA, compare best practices, and provide a term sheet with favorable language. If the administration desires performance benchmarks tied to financial support, we will provide options and discuss the feasibility of measurement and implementation.
